A review of Buso Renkin was given by Sven. Final Rating: Watch it no matter what.

"The story begins when high school student Kazuki Muto (武藤カズキ, Mutō Kazuki?) is killed one night saving a mysterious girl from a monster, only to wake up and find it was only a dream. However, he soon finds out how real that dream was when a giant serpentine monster attacks him and his sister. Tokiko Tsumura (津村斗貴子, Tsumura Tokiko?), the girl from his dream, explains that the monster is a homunculus. Kazuki had been attacked and killed by it when rescuing Tokiko, however the girl revived him by placing a kakugane medal in his chest.

The kakugane, Tokiko explains, is an alchemical device that when activated can give him the power to fight the homunculus monster. Using this, Kazuki creates his own buso renkin, an alchemical weapon in the form of a huge lance. Along with Tokiko and her own buso renkin, Kazuki joins the fight against the homunculus and their master."

A review of Psychic Academy was given by Daisuke. Final Rating: Watch it only if you get paid (I didn't get paid :@).

"Ai Shiomi is a boy with something he doesn't really want: psychic power, also known as Aura Power. "Aura power" allows certain elements such as fire, water, light and earth to be used by those with aura power and which they can use depends on their aura and what they are taught.

The "Psychic Academy", the school Ai agrees to attend after being pressured by his parents, is the elite school students go to learn how to use their elemental aura power. Ai also knows that somewhere within the "Psychic Academy" is his childhood friend Orina (Sarha to those that go there, since that is her aura code name). On his way to his first day at the Psychic Academy, Ai encounters a Myu (Mew) who is another student at the Academy and a very quiet, seemingly moody girl. He also learns that his older brother Zero, a legend amongst those with Aura Powers, will be one of his teachers.

As Ai struggles with his new school, a life he is not sure he wants, a crazy rabbit that takes him as his student, his feelings for Orina and Myuu and the discovery that he has the rare "light aura", and a group of researches try to artificially awaken the dormant Aura genes within all humans (heedless of the danger), Ai's life continues to become complicated with each day in this new world that like it or not he will gradually come to realize he is a part of due to his abilities and power."
